Russian drones injure 12 people causing mass damage in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia
A massive Russian drone attack targeted the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia late Tuesday, leaving 12 people injured and causing significant destruction to civilian infrastructure. Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov reported that the strikes ignited fires, destroyed shops, and heavily damaged seven blocks of flats and numerous vehicles.
Emergency services have been fully mobilised, with rescue operations currently underway at 12 separate locations across the city. Hamas hands over remains of deceased hostage to Red Cross in Gaza
Israel said it had received the remains of a deceased hostage from the Red Cross on Tuesday, who had been held by Hamas in Gaza, with the bodies of two still to be located more than six weeks into a fragile ceasefire.
The Israeli prime minister's office did not name the deceased former hostage, saying the remains would be handed over to the National Center of Forensic Medicine for identification.
