Iran has refused to resume nuclear negotiations with the United States, amid heightened regional tensions following Israeli military actions. The announcement was made by Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, during an interview on state television.
“Iran will not take part in the sixth round of nuclear talks with the United States on Sunday or until further notice,” Boroujerdi said.
Tehran has previously blamed the U.S. for enabling Israeli attacks, which it says have further destabilized the region and undermined trust in diplomatic channels.
The decision marks a significant setback in efforts to revive the stalled nuclear negotiations and could further escalate tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States.
