European leaders will gather on Monday to discuss the Ukraine conflict and security strategies, following U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to exclude European nations from upcoming peace negotiations.
The summit aims to coordinate support for Ukraine, outline Europe’s role in providing security guarantees for Kyiv, and bolster regional security measures.
Leaders from key countries, including Germany, Poland, Italy, Denmark, and the UK, will attend, alongside EU officials and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk have confirmed their participation.
The meeting is expected to showcase a united European stance amid concerns over unilateral U.S. moves in the Ukraine crisis.
