Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze says the country is accelerating investments to enhance its connectivity and transit functions, with key road links set for completion by 2030.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said the government is doing everything possible to maximise the country’s strategic position, placing particular emphasis on strengthening its role as a regional connector.
Speaking to POSTV, he noted that developing Georgia’s transit and linkage functions remains one of the administration’s core priorities.
Kobakhidze said substantial investments are already being directed toward expanding the country’s transport network.
He added that, under current plans, almost all major road sections stretching from the border with Türkiye to the borders with Azerbaijan and Armenia are expected to be completed by the end of 2030.
