The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman has confirmed that the second round of talks between representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America will be held in Rome this Saturday.
"The Sultanate of Oman is pleased to be facilitating this meeting in Rome, which has been selected as the venue due to logistical considerations. Oman also expresses its sincere appreciation to the Government of Italy for its invaluable assistance in the preparations for this significant engagement," - the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, the talks will aim to achieve further progress towards a fair, binding and sustainable agreement.
