Türkiye expects the YPG/SDF to comply with the March 10 agreement signed in Syria and fulfil its obligations, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Friday.
Speaking at a joint Türkiye–Indonesia meeting of foreign and defence ministers in Ankara, Fidan stressed that maintaining public order in Syria is critical for peace and welfare, adding that counterterrorism efforts must continue effectively.
He said Türkiye is closely monitoring developments on the ground and confirmed that he held talks earlier in the day with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani.
