“This painting has never been seen in a museum or exhibition until now,” said Thomas Clement Salomon, Director of the National Galleries of Ancient Art.
“Seeing it in person reveals its magnetic quality and extraordinary power,” added curator Paola Nicita. "Don’t miss this historic opportunity to experience the genius of Caravaggio."
