Beyoncé has officially joined the billionaire club, becoming the fifth musician to reach a 10-figure fortune, Forbes reports.

The American superstar joins an elite group of musicians with billionaire net worths, including Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, and her husband Jay-Z, who Forbes lists at $2.5bn.

Earlier this month, Forbes estimated Beyoncé’s net worth at $800m, predicting she would surpass the billionaire threshold after years of commercial success.

Her 2023 Renaissance World Tour grossed nearly $600m, solidifying her as one of the world’s top pop icons. Beyoncé also produced a concert film from the tour, distributing it via AMC theaters and earning nearly half of the $44m global box office.

Her 2024 album Cowboy Carter, exploring the Black roots of country music, won her first Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The accompanying tour, featuring guest appearances from Jay-Z, two of their children, and former Destiny’s Child members, generated over $400m in ticket sales and $50m from merchandise.

Despite some slow ticket sales that required price adjustments, the tour broke records at venues including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and Stade de France in Paris, with top-ticket prices reaching £950.

Additional revenue streams included a halftime show for Netflix’s first Christmas Day NFL game, estimated at $50m, and $10m from Levi’s advertising campaigns, contributing to her billionaire status.
