The EU has extended support to Türkiye through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism following a deadly hotel fire in the Bolu region, with Commissioner Hadja Lahbib expressing condolences and solidarity with the victims and their families.
The European Union (EU) has pledged assistance to Türkiye through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism following the deadly hotel fire in the Bolu region, announced European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib on X.
"At this moment, I feel deeply for the victims and their families affected by the tragic fire in Bolu. My heartfelt condolences go out to Türkiye and the families of those lost," Lahbib wrote.
"The EU stands in solidarity and offers support through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism," she added.
