Azerbaijan and Ukraine have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in social protection and rehabilitation, as officials from both countries highlighted expanding ties and shared efforts to support war-affected communities and advance social reforms.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Anar Aliyev, met with Ukrainian Ambassador Yuriy Gusev to discuss expanding cooperation in social security and rehabilitation.
Aliyev highlighted the strong partnership between the two countries, grounded in friendly relations, and praised their ongoing collaboration in labor, employment, and social services. He emphasized the significance of the agreements signed with Ukraine’s Ministry of Social Policy and noted Azerbaijan’s support for Ukrainian children affected by war, particularly in providing psychological and social rehabilitation.
Ambassador Gusev commended the growing relationship between the nations and stressed the importance of continued cooperation and experience-sharing in implementing social reforms.
Both sides exchanged views on future joint efforts in the areas of social protection and rehabilitation.
