Kazakhstan has introduced an investor visa that allows foreign nationals to reside in the country in exchange for sizeable investments.
At the initiative of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, new regulations for obtaining an investor visa have been approved, with the goal of enhancing the country's investment appeal and fostering long-term business partnerships.
Anyone who invest a minimum of 300,000 US dollars in the charter capital of Kazakh companies or in local publicly traded securities are eligible to submit an electronic application for an investor visa.
This "golden visa" also offers the possibility of obtaining a residence permit in Kazakhstan for up to 10 years.
The regulation will come into effect 10 days after its official publication.
