China and Kazakhstan have agreed to strengthen cooperation across various sectors, state media reported on Wednesday.
At a meeting in Beijing on Tuesday, Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang and Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar co-chaired the 12th China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee.
Ding proposed enhancing head-of-state diplomacy, deepening Belt and Road cooperation, boosting security collaboration, and expanding cultural exchanges. Sklyar reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to advancing key Belt and Road projects and achieving new milestones in bilateral ties.
Ding also emphasised the need to strengthen political trust and align development strategies.
