The United States and Central Asian countries have expressed interest inn new opportunities arising from the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).
A U.S. spokesperson confirmed to Azertag regional bureau said, "We just celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the C5+1 regional diplomatic platform. During the C5+1 meetings in D.C. earlier this month,”.
“We recognised Armenia and Azerbaijan’s efforts to expand opportunities for regional cooperation and prosperity.” they said.
The spokesperson added that U.S. and Central Asian states support durable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and “intend to work together to maximise opportunities,” according to the AZERTAC report.
U.S. President Donald Trump received the leaders of the region's countries on 6 November at the White House in the "Central Asia + USA" (C5+1) format.
The meeting with the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan took place as Washington strives to strengthen its presence in a resource-rich region traditionally dominated by Russia and increasingly wooed by China.
He described Central Asia as “an extremely wealthy region,” adding that he aims to deepen America’s partnership with the five states.
The C5+1 diplomatic platform represents the U.S. government’s approach for jointly engaging all five Central Asian governments (the C5) – Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Since its inception in Samarkand in 2015, the C5+1 platform engagement has enhanced U.S.-Central Asia partnership founded on respect for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of all countries, according to the U.S. Department of State.

He reiterated his belief that Azerbaijan, Armenia and the C5 states will be able to take advantage of the opportunities emerging from the project.
