Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan’s foreign ministers have held talks amid escalating regional tensions following the Iran-Israel confrontation.
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone call to address pressing regional security concerns. The discussion focused on the fallout from the recent Iran-Israel conflict, reinforcing the two countries’ strategic partnership. They also exchanged views on joint efforts ahead of the upcoming Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers’ Session, set to take place in Istanbul on June 21–22.
