U.S. President Trump has expressed surprise at Russia’s latest deadly assault on Ukraine.
U.S. President Donald Trump has voiced strong disappointment over Russia’s weekend bombing of Ukraine.
Trump, who recently held a two-hour phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said he was surprised by the strikes, which came amid ongoing talks about a potential ceasefire.

Trump has been pushing for a ceasefire in the three-year-old war and has suggested the possibility of new sanctions on Russia in response to the continued attacks.
