A drone hit a petrol station in Ukraine's capital of Kyiv early on Tuesday, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on the Telegram messaging app, adding that there was also a strike on warehouse facilities in another part of the city.

A drone attack struck an industrial facility in Russia's Samara region on the Volga River, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said on Telegram, without naming it.

The region is home to several large oil refineries.

Ukraine backs energy ceasefire if U.S. confirms Russia's intent

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Kyiv was ready to support a U.S. proposal for a Russia-Ukraine ceasefire on energy sites only if Washington could ensure Moscow was genuinely ready to end its war on Ukraine.

Zelenskyy made his comments in his nightly video address after U.S. President Donald Trump said that Ukraine and Russia had both agreed not to hit each other's energy targets.

“If this can become the first de-escalatory step, a step towards ending Russian strikes against our critical infrastructure and our strikes in response, Ukraine is ready to support de-escalation,” Zelenskyy said.

Missile attack damages Ozon warehouse

A missile attack damaged an Ozon warehouse in Russia's southern port city of Taganrog, regional Governor Yuri Slyusar said. A gas pipe and several residential buildings were also damaged, he added.
