The first three hostages released from Gaza have arrived in Israel. The three women were reunited with their mothers at a reception point near the Gaza border, in a facility in Re'im, near Kibbutz Kfar Aza and the site of the Nova festival, from which they were abducted.
The women will undergo initial medical checks before being transported to hospital.
Israeli media, carrying live footage from Al Jazeera, showed the three women walking to Red Cross vehicles as their convoy moved through Gaza City. The vehicles were accompanied by armed men who wore green Hamas headbands.
Romi Gonen, Doron Steinbrecher, and Emily Damari are said to be in good physical condition.
“The condition of the three hostages is good, following an initial medical examination,” a Red Cross official said.
Earlier, the Red Cross transferred the hostages to the Israeli military in Gaza.
