Ghastly car-crash in India claims 13 lives, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India

The crash occurred on the Delhi-Agra Expressway and was attributed to poor visibility caused by dense winter fog, according to local media.

Emergency responders, including fire services and police, rushed to the scene after locals and witnesses attempted to rescue those trapped in burning vehicles.

Mathura District Magistrate, Chandra Prakash Singh, announced that families of the victims will receive a payment of 200,000 rupees (USD 2,200).
