Qatar is hosting the annual 2025 Web Summit, one of the world's largest conferences, aiming to become a bridge for sci-tech globalization.
The four-day 2025 Web Summit, opened in Doha, Qatar, features thousands of political, economic, and technological figures from around 90 countries and regions worldwide.
Expecting to have 25,000 attendees, many renowned scholars, entrepreneurs, and technical experts are scheduled to deliver important speeches at the event, as it explores the latest trends in global technological development with wider topics, including artificial intelligence (AI), new energy, cybersecurity, and venture capital.
AI, in particular, has emerged as a central focus of this year's summit.
The organizer aims to build a diverse innovation ecosystem with the help of this summit, to promote technological innovation and economic transformation in the Middle East and North Africa region, and eliminate the global digital division.
