An Azerbaijani delegation attended the opening ceremony of the 30th Shanghai Television Festival, one of Asia’s most prestigious media events, held in China’s Shanghai city on June 23.
Recognized as a major platform for creative ideas, international cooperation, and innovation in television and media, the festival has been running since 1986. Marking its 30th anniversary this year, Shanghai Television Festival is not only the first television festival in East Asia but also one of the continent’s most influential media events. The festival’s core mission is to showcase high-quality television productions and discuss global media trends.
The Azerbaijani delegation included Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Ismet Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council; Kamran Hasanov, Head of the Media Affairs Sector at the Presidential Administration’s Department for Work with NGOs and Communications; Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC); and Rufat Hamzayev, Executive Director of AnewZ TV channel.
