Armenia is seeking to strengthen and expand its partnership with Russia, focusing on long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation across diplomatic, economic, and cultural spheres.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan highlighted this during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Yerevan. Mirzoyan said that their teams had finalized a new two-year political consultation program between the foreign ministries of both countries and expressed hope that it would be signed that day.
Mirzoyan also emphasized progress in humanitarian cooperation and upcoming cultural events, such as the Days of Armenian Culture in Russia, to deepen bilateral ties.
