This resolve was expressed during a meeting between Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday.
Sharif, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Army Chief Gen. Asim Munir, is on a four-day visit to the kingdom. Discussions focused on enhancing economic, trade, investment, energy, and defense cooperation.
The leaders also reviewed the regional and geopolitical landscape, agreeing to collaborate closely for peace and stability. They stressed the importance of stronger people-to-people ties, cultural exchanges, and educational collaboration.
Both reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia partnership, guided by mutual respect, shared interests, and a vision for regional prosperity.
