U.S. and Iran conclude second round of nuclear talks in Rome
Tehran and Washington have wrapped up their second round of nuclear talks, aiming to revive stalled diplomacy and explore the path to a potential agreement.
Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, has arrived in Tehran on Wednesday for talks with President Masoud Pezeshkian and senior Iranian officials.
The Amir is accompanied by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and an official delegation.
According to Iran's state news agency IRNA, President Pezeshkian has already welcomed the Amir at the Saadabad Palace Complex.
Bilateral agreements are expected to be signed during the visit to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education, and sports.
The trip follows Iranian President Pezeshkian's October 2024 visit to Doha, where he attended the Asia Cooperation Dialogue summit and held talks with Sheikh Tamim.
