During President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Washington, officials from Azerbaijan and the United States discussed expanding economic collaboration and boosting strategic innovation partnerships.

He also pointed to the country’s favourable investment climate, saying that digital transformation and the promotion of knowledge-based sectors remain key pillars of Azerbaijan’s development strategy.
The role of technological innovation, scientific advancement and artificial intelligence in shaping economic transformation was emphasised. Azerbaijan’s ambition to become a regional hub for knowledge and innovation was discussed, with both sides agreeing on the potential for deeper cooperation in these areas.
