Russia resumes wheat exports to Kazakhstan
Russia has resumed wheat exports to Kazakhstan after lifting a ban that was in place until December 31, 2024.
Kazakhstan and Hungary reached an agreement on oil deliveries and collaborative energy projects on Monday following discussions between Kazakh Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto in Astana.
According to the Kazakh Energy Ministry, the ministers explored bilateral energy cooperation, reviewing the current state and future prospects of their respective energy industries.
The talks emphasized the efficient development of the Rozhkovskoye gas condensate field, where companies from both nations are engaged. Additionally, they discussed the supply of Kazakh oil to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline, agreeing to initiate trial deliveries by 2025.
Kazakhstan also showed interest in Hungary’s expertise in manufacturing dry cooling towers for nuclear power plants, particularly those developed by MVM Group.
