Syria and Israel are expected to restart negotiations in Baku, according to Saudi broadcaster Al-Hadath, which cited unnamed sources close to the process.

The talks in the Azerbaijani capital are aimed at finalising key agreements, the report said.

Meanwhile, Axios reported that U.S. officials will formally join the discussions on 24 July. An Israeli source told the outlet that resolving core disputes would not be possible without a broader agreement involving Washington, Damascus, and Tel Aviv.

No official confirmation has been issued yet by any of the three governments.
