Regional cooperation on Power, Culture and Logistics formed a crucial part of trilateral talks between Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in Turkmenbashi on Friday.
In a press statement released after the trilateral meeting, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov termed the event “of historic importance for multilateral relations.
He said that all parties present discussed various aspects of cooperation, strengthening multilateral interaction, in particular in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

During the meeting, Berdimuhamedov welcomed President Aliyev, highlighting the close ties between the two nations and the importance of their regional partnership. He noted that the upcoming trilateral meeting between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan would further enhance cooperation across cultural and other sectors.
President Aliyev expressed gratitude for the invitation and warm reception, recalling their recent meetings in Baku, Fuzuli, and Shusha. He praised the development of the city of Avaza and emphasised the enduring friendship between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Aliyev also underlined the value of the planned trilateral discussions, citing shared history, culture, language, and religion as strong foundations for deeper collaboration.
