Sea drones have injured eight people in Russia's Black Sea resort city of Sochi, regional authorities said. In Ukraine, two people were wounded, one seriously, in Russian drone strikes on the city of Kryvyi Rhi, a defence official said. Strikes were also reported in other Ukrainian cities.
Two people have been injured, one seriously, in Russian drone strikes on the city of Kryvyi Rhi in central Ukraine, Oleksandr Vilkul, Chairman of the city's Defence Council said in a post on Telegram.
Houses, businesses and educational buildings were damaged in the attacks he said, adding that an emergency response was underway.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service also reported a drone strike on the city of Khmelnytskyi, western Ukraine.
Sea drones injured eight people in Russia's popular Black Sea resort of Sochi late on Wednesday, regional authorities said on Telegram.
Beach infrastructure at the resort was also partially damaged, the post said. Russian President Vladimir Putin has an official residence in Sochi.
Weapons were fired and an explosion seen on a social media post from a Sochi embankment, with people heard screaming. The video was verified by Reuters.
