Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov criticized German Chancellor Friedrich Merz for saying there are no longer limits on how far Ukraine can strike using Western weapons.
Lavrov suggested this means Western countries had already secretly decided to allow long-range attacks on Russia. He also questioned the judgment of current European leaders based on such statements.
When asked about U.S. President Donald Trump's recent comments on Russia, Lavrov said Trump seemed frustrated, believing that his peace efforts were being blocked by European politicians.
