Ukrainian authorities stated on Tuesday that three people were injured following a series of drone and artillery attacks across southern and southeastern regions of the country overnight.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Governor Serhiy Lysak reported that two people sustained injuries during the strikes. He added that air defence units had intercepted five drones over the region. The attacks caused a fire in a private house and an outbuilding in one area, while in another, they destroyed an agricultural facility, a private residence, and a vehicle.
The Nikopol district within the region was also targeted by first-person view (FPV) drone, artillery, and additional drone strikes, according to Lysak.
In Kherson, located in the south of Ukraine, a 59-year-old man was injured during a morning drone strike, the regional military administration confirmed.
Further north, in the city of Sumy, a drone strike ignited a fire at an industrial enterprise building. A subsequent air strike caused damage to at least seven private homes, a two-storey building, and several vehicles, although no casualties were reported, officials said.
These attacks come amid ongoing hostilities affecting various parts of Ukraine, with drone and missile strikes continuing to cause damage to infrastructure and civilian property.
