Russian forces have captured two villages in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, as Kyiv struggles to repel advances during stalled peace negotiations, Ukrainian open-source researchers said on Tuesday.
A Ukrainian drone strike late Tuesday cut power to areas of Russia-held Zaporizhzhia region, officials said, during ongoing attacks in southeastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian officials reported that three people were injured in overnight drone and artillery attacks across the country’s southern and southeastern regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Sumy.
Ukrainian authorities reported multiple injuries and one child fatality after overnight drone attacks they attributed to Russia struck several regions, including Kyiv.
On April 24-25, Russian drone strikes on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast killed 3, including a 15-year-old girl, and injured 14, including 3 children. The attack caused fires, infrastructure damage, and power outages. Ukrainian air defenses destroyed 11 drones, with ongoing recovery efforts.
