U.S. and China meet in London to ease trade tensions
Top U.S. and Chinese officials are meeting in London to cool rising trade tensions, with rare earth exports and global supply chain stability at the center of the talks.
Five people were taken to hospital with stab wounds and later arrested after a violent incident at a music event in Thamesmead, southeast London.
Police were called to Nathan Way just after 4am on Saturday, where they found around 300 people gathered.
The five men, aged between 22 and 32, were all injured in the incident and taken to hospital. According to the Metropolitan Police, they have all been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Three of the victims have injuries that are not life-threatening. The conditions of the other two are still being assessed.
Detectives say they are continuing to investigate what happened and whether more people were involved. A visible police presence remains in the area.
The public is being asked to contact police with any information or video footage that could help the investigation.
