Moscow airports are experiencing major flight disruptions due to ongoing Ukrainian drone threats ahead of Russia's 9 May Victory Day celebrations.
Russia’s flagship airline, Aeroflot, has cancelled 52 departures and 54 arrivals on Wednesday, according to its departure board. In total, over 140 flights to and from the capital have been delayed, with around 280 flights still scheduled.
The disruptions mainly affect Sheremetyevo Airport (used by Aeroflot) and Vnukovo Airport (used by its subsidiary Rossiya). Other carriers like S7 and Pobeda have also reported significant delays and cancellations.
