Xi said China views the European Union as a partner and expressed hope that Slovakia would help strengthen dialogue and cooperation between Beijing and Brussels.
He also reaffirmed China's support for multilateralism, saying both countries should work together to uphold the UN-centred international system and international law.

Xi said China and Slovakia should explore new opportunities in artificial intelligence, robotics, the digital economy and clean energy. He also called for stronger cultural, tourism and youth exchanges, as well as easier travel between the two countries.

He also welcomed greater investment by Chinese companies and reaffirmed Slovakia's support for dialogue between the European Union and China.
The Slovak president added that the two countries should strengthen cooperation on global challenges, including the governance of artificial intelligence, while continuing to work together to promote international peace and stability.
