U.S. completes eighth straight night of strikes on Iran

The U.S. military completed an eighth consecutive night of strikes against Iran after two American service members were killed in Jordan and another was reported missing following an Iranian attack. U.S. Central Command said the strikes targeted Iranian military facilities and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps positions, while Tehran warned Washington would face "heavier costs" as fighting spread across the Gulf, raising fears of a return to all-out war.

Social media influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate arrested in U.S. as UK seeks extradition

Controversial influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been arrested in the United States after British prosecutors announced fresh rape, trafficking and sexual assault charges against the brothers and requested their extradition.
The UK's Crown Prosecution Service said the new allegations, relating to offences between 2010 and 2017, bring the total number of alleged victims to seven. The brothers deny all wrongdoing and remain under separate criminal investigation in Romania while Andrew Tate also faces a civil lawsuit in the UK.

Ontario premier condemns Trump's wildfire criticism as fires spread

Ontario Premier Doug Ford criticised U.S. President Donald Trump's comments blaming Canada for wildfire smoke drifting into the United States, calling the remarks "absolutely unacceptable." Trump accused Canada of poor forest management and threatened to add the costs of dealing with the smoke to existing tariffs on Canadian goods.
