Ferrari's Charles Leclerc claimed victory in a dramatic British Grand Prix after a late Safety Car and mechanical problems for rivals reshaped the race at Silverstone Circuit.
The Monégasque driver secured the ninth win of his Formula One career after holding off a late challenge that unravelled when Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli suffered a car issue.
Leclerc made an excellent getaway, with Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton also overtaking Antonelli at the start.
Antonelli later reclaimed second place from Hamilton and briefly inherited the lead after Leclerc made his pit stop. However, the Italian's race unravelled on Lap 41 when his team reported a suspected left-front wheel shield failure.
After two additional pit stops and a five-second penalty for exceeding track limits, Antonelli eventually finished 16th.
Further drama followed on Lap 48 when Max Verstappen spun into the gravel, triggering a late Safety Car that remained in place until the chequered flag.
The neutralisation helped Mercedes' George Russell, who stayed out while several rivals pitted, allowing him to move into second place.
Hamilton completed the podium in third, although the seven-time world champion is under post-race investigation for an alleged yellow flag infringement.
Lando Norris finished fourth for McLaren ahead of Red Bull's Isack Hadjar in fifth.
Racing Bulls teammates Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad finished sixth and seventh respectively, while Gabriel Bortoleto claimed eighth for Audi.
Alpine drivers Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly completed the top 10.
Championship contender Oscar Piastri finished outside the points in 11th after stopping at the end of the opening lap to repair damage.
Carlos Sainz Jr. placed 12th ahead of Haas duo Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon. Sergio Pérez finished 15th for Cadillac, while Valtteri Bottas, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll completed the classified finishers.
Verstappen was one of three retirements alongside Alexander Albon and Nico Hülkenberg.
