Cuba has introduced two key measures to make travel easier for foreign visitors, focusing on the D’Viajeros platform and tourist card holders.
The first change involves the D’Viajeros platform, which allows travelers to register their details before arriving in Cuba. Previously, registration had to be completed within 48 hours of arrival. However, as of October 1, 2024, this window has been extended to seven days, giving travelers more time and flexibility to submit their information in advance.
These updates aim to simplify entry requirements and make travel to Cuba more convenient, encouraging tourism on the island.
