Media accreditation is now open for COP30, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, set to take place in Belém, Brazil in 2025.
Accreditation for media representatives wishing to cover COP30—the 30th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)—has officially begun. The announcement was made by Brazil’s Presidential Administration.
Journalists and other media personnel can apply through the UNFCCC’s online registration system (ORS) to participate in the event, which will be held from 10 to 21 November, 2025, at the Hangar Convention and Exhibition Center in Belém's City Park.
The accreditation process also includes the Leaders' Summit, which Brazil will host on 6-7 November.
Further details about the summit are expected to be announced soon by the Brazilian government, which currently holds the COP30 presidency.
