Turkish Airlines, the country's flag carrier, has announced that it will resume flights from Istanbul to Aleppo, Syria’s second-largest city, beginning 1st August.
The airline will operate daily service on the route, offering increased connectivity as air travel between Türkiye and Syria continues to expand, according to company's statement.
To mark the reopening, special round-trip fares will be available starting at $299, the airline said.
The move comes as more flight routes between the two countries have been restored following the end of Syria’s Assad regime last December, signaling a broader normalization in bilateral relations.
