Azerbaijan and Armenia have successfully concluded peace agreement negotiations and are now in consultations to sign the treaty, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced.

The deal, agreed upon bilaterally this year, marks a significant step toward resolving the long-standing conflict.

"This year we have managed to complete negotiations with Azerbaijan on a peace agreement between our countries with positive results. That project was agreed upon on a bilateral basis, and now the time has come to sign a peace agreement. We are holding consultations with Azerbaijan to reach this point and sign a peace agreement," he said as quoted by his press service.
