The second day of the international conference on Islamophobia has started in Baku, focusing on unveiling biases and combating discrimination.
The international conference titled “Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas” resumed its second day in Baku, organized by the Baku International Multiculturalism Center and the Center for the Analysis of International Relations. The event marks the third anniversary of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia and gathers experts, academics, and officials to analyze the global, historical, and political causes of Islamophobia.
For two years, these centers, along with the G20 Interfaith Forum, have held conferences aimed at addressing and reducing anti-Muslim discrimination worldwide. Discussions cover a wide array of topics, including the importance of intersectional perspectives, historical and current trends of Islamophobia, international cooperation, and the vital role of multilateral organizations. The conference highlights religious diversity and interfaith respect as key elements in fighting intolerance.
