Trump says deal with Harvard ‘very possible’
US President Donald Trump said Friday that a major deal with Harvard University could be announced soon.
Azerbaijan has dismissed recent remarks by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with Azerbaijani Public Television in Albania, accusing him of misleading the international community on territorial claims and the OSCE Minsk Group’s dissolution.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Ayxan Hacızadə, stated that Armenia’s disregard for international agreements on territorial integrity is evident. He cited Armenia’s violation of the Almaty Declaration, despite being a signatory, and highlighted inconsistencies between Armenia’s constitutional provisions and its international commitments.
Hacızadə also pointed out that while Armenia claims to support territorial integrity based on the 1991 borders and the Almaty Declaration, it has failed to adhere to these agreements for decades. Furthermore, he criticised Armenia for continuing to back a separatist regime until Azerbaijan’s counter-terrorism measures in 2023.
The spokesperson further noted that Armenia’s resistance to dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group, despite its obsolescence, reveals a hidden agenda aimed at maintaining tensions with Azerbaijan. He emphasised that amending Armenia’s constitution to remove territorial claims against Azerbaijan is essential for lasting peace.
