Armenian armed forces opened fire on Azerbaijani military positions on May 13, prompting a response from the Azerbaijan Army, according to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense.
On May 13, between 20:45 and 21:30 local time, Armenian armed forces units stationed in the Gorus and Chambarak regions intermittently opened fire on Azerbaijani Army positions using small arms.
The firing targeted Azerbaijani military positions located across the border in corresponding directions.
In response, Azerbaijani Army units took adequate retaliatory measures in the mentioned directions to suppress the fire and stabilize the situation.
No casualties or material damage have been reported so far.
