Azerbaijan sends fresh diesel shipment to Armenia

Azerbaijan dispatched 17 railway wagons carrying 984 tonnes of diesel fuel to Armenia on Thursday, marking the latest shipment in growing trade between the two countries.

The diesel was sent from Biləcəri Station and transported in 17 railcars carrying a total of 984 tonnes of fuel.

Azerbaijan has so far exported more than 12,000 tonnes of AI-92 petrol and 2,955 tonnes of AI-95 petrol to Armenia.

Trade figures rise

In May, Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee said the country exported goods worth $9.646 million to Armenia during the first four months of 2026.

Azerbaijan’s imports from Armenia through indirect channels totalled $960 over the same period.
