live First Azerbaijani–Turkish Think Tank Forum kicks off in Shusha

The first Azerbaijan–Türkiye Think-Tank Forum kicked off in Shusha on Monday, focusing on foreign policy trends and regional cooperation, bringing together leading experts, analysts, and academic representatives from both countries.

The inaugural Azerbaijan–Türkiye Think-Tank Forum is underway in Shusha, highlighting key trends in foreign policy and opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

The forum, organised by the Centre for Analysis of International Relations  (AIR Centre), began with opening remarks from AIR Centre Chairman Farid Shafiyev and Polat Safi, Chairman of the Strategic Research Centre (SAM), who emphasised the forum’s role in deepening regional integration, strategic partnership, and institutional collaboration between think tanks.

The first session, focused on foreign policy strategies, regional security, and coordination mechanisms between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Experts discussed the growing regional influence of both nations and explored new avenues for strategic cooperation.

The forum will include three panel sessions covering foreign policy, economic collaboration, transportation-communication projects, and regional integration initiatives.

This event strengthens institutional ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye’s think tanks, fosters joint analytical platforms, and coordinates future strategic initiatives.
