Heads of media institutions, prominent media organisations, senior representatives and renowned experts have arrived in Azerbaijan's capital for the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation Media Forum, themed, "Promoting Dialogue, Cooperation and Regional Solidarity".
Hikmat Hajiyev, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, opened the Forum in Baku by reading a message from President Ilham Aliyev to the participants.
The Forum includes two panel sessions: “Responsible Journalism and Digital Innovation” and “Strategic Communication and Crisis Management,” along with a workshop titled “Media Ethics in a Digitalising World: Technologies, Trends and Narratives.”
Nearly 150 delegates are participating, including 71 foreign representatives from the eight member countries and the D-8 Secretariat.
