A Kazakh delegation visited Azerbaijan to strengthen cooperation with the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, focusing on security, law enforcement, and regional collaboration.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Internal Affairs Vilayat Eyvazov highlighted that, in line with the strategy set by the presidents of both nations, cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan has continued to grow.
He emphasised that joint efforts to combat transnational organised crime, share best practices and operational data, and develop regulatory and legal frameworks benefit both countries and enhance regional security.
Major General Baltabekov expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reiterated Kazakhstan’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation in all areas of internal affairs.
The two sides also discussed additional topics of mutual interest.
As part of the visit, the Kazakh delegation familiarised themselves with the activities of the Internal Troops and police agencies of Azerbaijan.
