Ni Zhen expressed interest in launching new projects such as wastewater treatment, water resource management, and the installation of photovoltaic panels in water basins across Azerbaijan.

Aliyev’s talks with Xie Yi, Founder and Chairman of Sichuan Sunsync Photovoltaic Technology Co, focused on plans to build a modern solar panel production facility in the Alat Free Economic Zone. Xie Yi said a significant portion of the plant’s output would target global export markets, adding that favourable investment conditions and close ties between Azerbaijan and China encouraged the decision to invest.

During his meeting with Zhu Peng, CEO of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), President Aliyev discussed future cooperation in digital governance, the development of the digital economy, network security, and data applications. CCCC discusses Baku port expansion, metro projects and lake rehabilitation

Aliyev also met with Song Hailiang, Chairman of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), to explore CCCC’s involvement in the second phase of the Baku International Sea Port and the broader Trans-Caspian transport corridor. The meeting also touched on metro station construction, urban transport solutions, and the rehabilitation of lakes on the Absheron Peninsula. Song Hailiang said CCCC would soon present conceptual proposals in line with Azerbaijan’s infrastructure goals.
