The inaugurate BRICS Motor Rally will take place from 9th to 15th August 2025, along the route from Yekaterinburg to Moscow. The event is supported by the BRICS Business Council under the chairmanship of Braz, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Delegations from 15 countries are expected to participate, including Brazil, Ethiopia, the UAE, India, China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Belarus, Egypt, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Iran, Peru, Nigeria, and Chile. Russian university students will also join the rally.
A total of 33 companies have confirmed their participation.
The rally, coveing eight regions of Russia and 1,600 kilometres, aims to enhance international transport cooperation and encourage the growth of car tourism.
The rally route is divided into two stages. The first, known as the 'youth' stage, will run from Yekaterinburg to Kazan and will feature international students currently studying at Russian universities. This stage will conclude in Kazan, where the students will symbolically hand over the baton to representatives of the business community.
The Kazan–Moscow stage will bring together top executives from leading companies in the construction, infrastructure, logistics, and oil and gas sectors.
The final stop of the rally will be Moscow, where a closing ceremony, awards presentation, and banquet will take place at the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNH).
