Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Khankendi, highlighting strong bilateral ties and regional cooperation.
The Pakistani Prime Minister commended Azerbaijan’s organization of the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), and highlighted their joint efforts to strengthen regional cooperation. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also reflected positively on his visit to Lachin and the Azerbaijan–Türkiye–Pakistan trilateral meeting, expressing admiration for the reconstruction work underway in Karabakh.
Both leaders underscored the strong political, economic, and energy partnerships between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
